The organizers of the awards intent is to help drive innovation, excellence and as an enabler of positive change in the global economy by recognizing best-in-class of services and products, companies and individuals.

This prestigious awards programme is co-organized by Dewan Industri & Perdagangan Malaysia (DIPM), Malaysia Digital Chamber of Commerce (MDCC) and The Leadership Post and is endorsed, and supported by the Ministry of Federal Territories Malaysia and United Nations Global Compact Network Malaysia (UNGC). The awards strategic partner is MCM Holdings Ltd. The Minister of Federal Territory, The Honourable Mr. Khalid Samad officiated the awards programme and presented the awards to the deserving winners along with Mr Shahazar Yazid the Executive Director of UN Global Compact Network Malaysia and the awards programme Project Director, Mr. Athi Pillai.
The criteria for the nomination are:
Materiality
To determine if applicant has considered most relevant factors in digitizing the business and sustainability factors and aligned it to business growth
Stakeholder Engagement
To determine if applicant has taken various stakeholder views and concerns into consideration for the organisation growth
Economic
To assess performance with regard to mitigating impacts of sustainability trends on company finance and contributing to local and national economy and anti-corruption
Environmental
To assess performance with regard to resource use, pollution, waste management, etc.
Social
To assess performance with regard to labour management, human rights and impacts on society
